PFOS Scout Lodge
The PFOS Scout Lodge is located right next to Samoset Council's Camp Flambeau and the Flambeau Canoe Base
The Scout Lodge is a 24 x 48 real log building
The Scout Lodge was originally built by people from the Phillips area under a Wisconsin Not-for Profit corporation to help promote Boy, Cub, and Venture Scouting in the area. The organization (PFOS, Inc.) is not affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America.
The lodge is available for use by any recognized youth group and is available only to youth groups. Girl Scouts, church youth groups and 4-H groups are examples of groups that qualify for use.
Inside the Scout Lodge, there is a large meeting area with log furniture. Groups that spend a weekend move the tables and chairs off to the side and "camp" on the floor. The lodge is equipped with a NOAA weather alert radio, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms.
A large fireplace will heat the lodge in the coldest weather.
There is a modern kitchen for food preparation.
And, of course, the outside facility...
