During our court of honors we give a time to award badges in the past season. This includes merit badges and ranks. We do a flag ceremony at the begining. Sometimes we even have a meal. Some people might not get badges, but it is a fun time for everyone.

Each Monday night we meet from 7pm to 8:30pm. We begin with a flag ceremony in which we recite the pledge of allegiance, scout oath, scout law, scout motto and outdoor code. Our chaplain's aide leads us in prayer, we collect the $1 weekly dues. Once we've completed these routines, we move into the part of our meeting where we learn new skills, play games and work on progressing to new ranks or completing merit badges. We also take time to plan our next outings. We like to keep the meetings fun, but we also make sure they are productive. We usually close the meeting with announcements, a Scoutmaster Minute (brief inspirational or motivational talk) and closing flag ceremony.
