Scouts are first encouraged to attend scout meetings and events as guests. Scouts interested in joining Troop 30 must fill out a Boy Scout Youth application form and pay the charter fee of $33 per month + $5 for insurance. In addition, boys are encouraged to purchase a subscription to Boys Life magazine for $12 per year.
