Pack 1005, located in Houston, Texas is chartered by the Kirk Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. The Pack normally meets every third Thursday of the month during the school year at Kirk Elementary School, 12421 Tanner Road, Houston, Texas 77041 in the cafeteria located in the back of the school at 7:00PM.

• September - Rally Nights!
• October - Fall Camping!
• November - Rocket Launch Day!
• December - Bat Viewing!
• January - Pinewood Derby
• February - Blue and Gold Banquet & Ten Commandments Hike
• March - Cake Bake & Spring Camping
• April - Scout Fair  & Trash Bash
• May - Pack Crossover Ceremony
• June to August - Summertime Activities

In addition to the above Pack events, Pack 1005 scouts participate in Dens.  Each Den consists of 4-10 scouts of the same grade.
Tiger scouts, being first graders, are the youngest.   Second graders are Wolves, third graders are Bears, and fourth and fifth graders are Webelos. Dens meet one to two times a month to learn and practice the principles of the scouting program.
